Compassion in the story "The Fate of a Man" by M. Sholokhov

Not all works about the Great Patriotic War convey battles and battles. In Russian-language literature, it turned out that the authors avoided describing war scenes. But they pay special attention to the fate of people. Perhaps it was this approach that influenced Mikhail Sholokhov. His work "The Fate of a Man" shows Andrei Sokolov - a front-line soldier who loses his family.

He finds the boy, and can no longer walk by. Andrei understands: if he leaves the child, then part of his soul will also disappear. In a difficult time for the country and people, the hero was able to do a good deed.

No, Sokolov did not want to be good in the eyes of other people. And how can you take a child to please someone? Andrey's impulse of soul was so strong that he immediately understood that they could overcome all difficulties together. The child will receive care, and he himself will give Andrey Sokolov a particle of home warmth. And this will make everyone better, life will immediately change.

Do you know that in the Caucasus it is not customary to send children to orphanages? If parents die, the children stay with relatives. And this is the right approach. Sokolov, of course, is not a Caucasian. He is a real Russian, a Soviet man who could not pass by the trouble of little Vanya.

If many were even a little like Sokolov, the world would have changed for the better. Sokolov's feat was not that he took the boy, but in the time of this action. It was hard for Andrey himself, but he did not justify his possible refusal, but did the act. “The Fate of a Man” is a story about real people who were code in our country.
