My friends and I like to fantasize from time to time about what we will become when we grow up. Some of my friends want to be a journalist, some want to be a blogger, but I always dream of being a police officer. My family and friends are very surprised by this choice and ask me to tell them why I am so attracted to this profession. As you know, police officers receive a small salary, and their work is extremely dangerous. I tell everyone that I love justice and I don't like it when the defenseless are offended.

I enjoy watching TV series about police officers: "Streets of broken lanterns", "Homicidal Force", "Policeman from Rublyovka". I also like the detective genre in literature. I take great pleasure in solving crimes with Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, and Erast Fandorin.

To become a police officer, a person must develop discipline, control their emotions, and be a good person. He also needs to have a good physical condition in order to be ready to detain the criminal at any time. Adults often say that it is extremely difficult to work in the police and you need to constantly train physically and mentally.

Working as a police officer involves many advantages: you are always confident in your future, you can build a successful career. If you are honest and decent, people will respect you. Police officers retire early and the state provides them with additional benefits and guarantees. Thanks to your work in the police, you will be determined, brave and confident people.

I often notice how Russia likes to scold the police and extol the level of law enforcement agencies in other countries. In my opinion, this is the wrong approach, since we only know about the work of foreign police from feature films and TV programs. I believe that there are many honest, brave and qualified police officers in Russia who successfully protect the peaceful sleep of ordinary citizens. And eventually, I want to become one of them.
