Conflict between Chatsky and Famus society
Alexander Sergeevich Griboyedov is a writer of the early 19th century. He can be considered an educated person. He always fought for justice and opposed hypocrisy and honor. These qualities are reflected in the play "Woe from Wit".

This work tells about Famusov. This is an uneducated person, a hypocrite. From his monologue, one can understand that he does not do anything useful all day. His business list includes attending dinner, funeral and christening. Moreover, at lunch he usually overeats so that the food does not have time to digest. The funeral is just an excuse to see other representatives of the secular society, the same as himself. Pavel has a daughter, Sophia. She's no better than her father. These are people of the "past century".

In contrast to Pavel, another hero is shown - Chatsky. He is an educated person with progressive views. He does not recognize the Famusian lifestyle, he is not satisfied with the vices of society. Alexander was very disappointed that during the years that he was gone, nothing had changed. Balls are also held, hypocrisy and reverence are also common. There is nothing good in modern society. Chatsky, as a person of the "present century", finds it difficult to be in such a society.

I believe that the conflict between the Chatsky and the Famus society is inevitable, because the Famus society does not want to change. They are satisfied with the traditional way of life. They are used to living in eternal idleness. Chatsky understands all this, but he saw a different life with his own eyes. Alexander could break the outdated social system, but he is still alone. When he finds like-minded people, he can change society.

Summing up the above, I want to say again that despite the fact that Chatsky could not do anything and left, he still came out the winner in this conflict. He did not whisper behind his back, as the Famus society did. I believe that in the near future Chatsky will find like-minded people, and together they will be able to influence the social order.
