The image of Tatiana in the novel "Eugene Onegin"

"Eugene Onegin" is the property of Russian and world literature. One of the central places in the novel by A.S. Pushkin takes the image of Tatyana Larina.

The young girl Tatyana is quiet and shy, unlike her cheerful and mischievous sister Olga. Since childhood, she did not like noisy games and companies, but preferred to look out the window alone. That is why, even among her loved ones, she feels lonely and alien. “Dika, sad, silent, like a forest doe, fearful” - this is how the author describes it.

Reading the novels of Richardson and Russo, the girl tries to escape reality, plunges into the world of dreams, where she is waiting for her prince. Therefore, she perceived the meeting with Onegin as fateful. "You just entered, I instantly recognized, Everything was stunned, flushed And in my thoughts I said: here he is!" - these are the words addressed to Eugene in Tatiana's famous letter of confession. The letter is a confirmation of the girl's sincerity and her courage. After all, to confess to the first in feelings to a man in those days was equal to shame. But love in her soul is so strong that the heroine is not going to be silent and hide her.

However, the brutal reality turns out to be unlike the world depicted in French novels. Having received a refusal from the cold Onegin, Tatiana closes herself even more, withdraws into herself. Gradually, she copes with this blow of fate, but at the same time it becomes completely different.

In the finale of the novel, we no longer see a young, romantic and dreamy girl, we are shown a stately, reasonable, serious woman. She learned to restrain her feelings, learned to be indifferent and unapproachable. Now sophistication, nobility and self-esteem have been added to its simplicity. She remains faithful to her husband, despite the fact that she still loves Onegin.

"Sweet ideal" - this is how the poet spoke about his heroine. In it, he embodied the best feminine qualities: sincerity, loyalty, sensitivity, decency, honesty, the ability to love. Pushkin managed to create a new literary type - the image of a real Russian woman.
