The tragedy of Raskolnikov in Dostoevsky's novel "Crime and punishment"
In the center of the story is deeply social, philosophical and ideological Dostoevsky's novel "Crime and punishment" is a poor student Rodion Raskolnikov. This is the main tragedy of this confused man. A perfect murder takes the student into the category of immoral people he is trying to resist at the beginning of the narrative. With great psychological accuracy the author allows us to trace all the mental anguish the main character of the novel.
Theory does not stand the test of reality. Life makes its own adjustments. The hero is deemed to fail of its conclusions. And we sympathize with Raskolnikov and rejoice in the miraculous healing of his soul in the finals.
