Generous in the works of Russian writers
Often in our lives raises the question of the manifestation of generosity. This trait is not inherent in all people, but those who were able to nurture it in your soul stand out from among other people.

Generosity is the ability of a person to act for the benefit of others, not seeking their own benefit. Only kind, unselfish and helpful a person can be generous.

An ulterior motive in this as a hidden two words from a great soul. Indeed, only a person with an open and generous heart willing to sacrifice their interests for somebody else.

This topic is often mentioned in many literary works, side by side with arguments about honor, morality and kindness.

Most brightly it rises in the novel Gorky "Starukha". The author meets an amazing old woman, who told him wonderful stories. One of them tells of a distant people, who began to displace other tribes. People died, not in forces to overcome impassable obstacles: a dark dense forests and swamps. But it was one of those people a hero, led the people, who returned them hope, and the people agreed to follow him further. His name was Danko. Over time, people again began to struggle, to lose faith and patience. People accused Danko that he was not able to bring all of the woods. For them, the hero ripped his heart from his chest, burning with an infinite love for people. He went on, illuminating the path of the heart, like a torch. Men followed a bright light. Finally, Danko brought all of dense forests, spacious plains, but he died. So the victim Danko saved many lives. This hero is a bright example of generosity and kindness. His feat was immortalized in the stories of the rescued people.

Another work, disclosing is a moral quality, is the "captain's daughter" by Alexander Pushkin. The main character of the novel is Peter Greene, whose moral values are dignity and honor. Being a military man, he confronts the forces of the enemy and protect the homeland in times of Pugachev. The main character, of course, not just generous, for example when without hesitation gave my rabbit coat unknown Cossack. Another example is forgiveness Sabrina hero, not just ruined the life of Peter. But green is not the only hero showing kindness and generosity. Yemelyan Pugachev, the leader of the rebels, was to execute Peter. However, he did not, remembering the past kindness of the hero. Pugachev generously spared and released Grineva.

From all this, the reader watches as the moral quality shows itself in the different characters and how it affects the lives of other people.
