Due to its geographic location, Russia is a state that is unlike any of the modern powers, since it was influenced by civilizations of the East and the West, very different in their structure and worldview.
Citizens of foreign countries, being in Russia for the first time, never cease to be amazed at its originality. Traditions, customs, as well as the way of life of the population differ significantly from the well-fed and measured way of life of European countries. It is not customary for guests from the East, who are used to following certain, rather strict rules. Both the first and the second believe that the way of life, thinking and activity should have led to the disintegration of the country, its self-destruction, but everything happens quite the opposite. The inquisitive and resourceful mind of the Russian person is the lever of progress. Thanks to Russian ingenuity, many discoveries and inventions were made. Seemingly illogical, at first glance, actions lead to a positive result.
This uniqueness, which causes bewilderment among citizens of foreign states, is inherent in the mysterious Russian soul, which even the Slavs themselves cannot comprehend. After all, you cannot find an answer to a problem whose conditions are constantly changing. In a Russian person, reason and feelings are so closely intertwined that at times he commits rash and even, to some extent, actions bordering on madness. He is capable of a feat for the sake of a higher idea. Such cases have been recorded more than once in the annals of history. Either the extraordinary energy that is in full swing, then the complete apathy for what is happening - this is how you can characterize the image of a Russian person. At the same time, the Russian people do not stand still, they develop themselves, paying maximum attention to their spiritual origin.
Folk tales are the best way to form an idea of the Russian peasant. He is a good-natured, slightly naive and rude person, but at the same time he is incredibly strong. The Russian peasant performs feats, striving for good to triumph over evil. He stands up for the offended, helps completely disinterestedly, sometimes making incredible efforts. And in the end, his efforts are rewarded.
It is impossible to understand Russia intellectually. Her people are her strength. It is impossible to break the Russian people either morally or physically. The inhabitants of the Russian land, proud and reckless, steadfastly meet the blows of fate, and bravely all together give rebuff to external enemies. Thanks to the self-irony and humor inherent in every Russian person, he will survive where others cannot.
