The theme of love in the poetry of Anna Akhmatova

The theme of love is central to the poetry of the outstanding poetess Anna Andreevna Akhmatova. Her early love lyrics are associated with a special lyric diary. The poetess writes both about great happiness and about everyday adversities, inextricably linked with this great feeling: despair, betrayal, separation. Everything in her poems was close and familiar to the reader, all her own experiences resonate with the lines of the great poetess. For example, such poems as "My husband whipped me with a patterned, double-folded belt ...", "She accompanied my friend to the front, stood in the golden dust ..." "I clenched my hands under a thin veil ...", you can go on for a very long time ...

Most often, Akhmatova's work is a separate drama, therefore love in her poems is "like a fatal duel," in which love always wins, which can only be stopped by the death of the beloved. Here you can cite such verses as "The high vaults of the church are blue than the firmament ...", "Glory to you, inescapable pain! The gray-eyed king died yesterday ..." Love and creativity are inextricably linked in the poetess's worldview. Love contributes to the creative inspiration of Akhmatova, she just needs it. Interest in the inner world of a person, his love experiences and actions can be seen in the vast majority of her poems.

Of course, the great feeling of love for their homeland undoubtedly finds its expression in her work. All the sorrows and passions of the destructive war, all the pain of the people are reflected in the stunning poem "Requiem".

It is probably impossible to imagine a person indifferent to the poetry of Anna Andreevna. She herself is - love, she herself is - poetry.
