I am 12 years old. I live in the modern world. Everything suits me, but sometimes I want to look at least five minutes into the future.
At the lesson of foreign literature, after reading a fantastic work, the teacher asked the task. It was necessary to write an essay with elements of fantasy about the future. I sat down at the table and began to create.
In my fantasies, I mentally imagined how I was traveling through the present, which had not yet come. In my imagination, our planet was indescribably beautiful. Our planet was not round, but a little oblong. The city in which I live has changed significantly. The huge marble colored multi-storey buildings were very large. It seemed that the tops of the high-rise buildings were piercing the clouds with their sharp roofs.
The sky shimmered with a varied palette of colors from dark purple to azure. Vehicles hovered in the endless expanses, and the birds flying nearby did not even pay attention to them. It seemed that they were about to collide with each other, but nothing happened. In my future there are many unusual animals that live not only in zoos, but also in parks, squares, and even as pets for people.
For example, elephants with three trunks lay in a park in a clearing shrouded in greenery. In the distance, a blue fox with three eyes sneaks cunningly, often playing with small children in the playground. Most of all in my fantastic future are flying dogs. They fly up to people and cling to their hands. Animals and people live in peace. Nobody offends or attacks anyone, calmness and grace reign.
Traveling through an imaginary future, I saw giant green trees and bushes. Despite their overall dimensions, they were in harmony with the environment. At the end of my essay, I realized that I would like everything to be so beautiful in our present too. I especially wanted such trees to start growing here today, because they purify the air. The foreign literature teacher really liked my essay. She gave me a top ten without hesitation and it made me very happy.
