With the summer and holidays, which you have been waiting for the entire academic year, it is always a pity to part. This summer also flew by very quickly, and it was time to go back to school. On the first day of school, pupils have Knowledge Day. We go to school to learn a lot. Joy is everywhere - on the faces of students and their parents.
This day evokes a lot of emotions. All meet at the solemn assembly, and then go to class together and receive textbooks. The building is decorated with balloons and posters. As usual, a concert dedicated to the Day of Knowledge has been prepared. Speakers are first-graders and graduates who will have to pass exams this year and enter adulthood.
Feeling the holiday
It was very noisy near the school from preparation for the ceremonial line. White ribbons with bows are woven into the girls' braids. The boys are also smart - in snow-white shirts, suits and ties. A special feeling is experienced by those who first crossed the threshold of the school. For our class, there was a place to build. I was paired with my deskmate, who was holding a lush bouquet of gladioli in her hands.
Conversations and laughter were heard from everywhere, as everyone wanted to share their summer experiences. The official part began soon after. The director congratulated on the beginning of the school year and wished everyone success in their studies, and the senior pupils pass their exams well. An 11-grader with a first-grader ran in a circle with a ringing bell. This meant that it was time to go to the desks to spend Knowledge Day.
September 1 - a special day The
classroom door opened and we hurried back to our desks. Bouquets of flowers were piled up on the teacher's table. Our class teacher was in a beautiful dress, and that day she was especially smiling and welcoming. We dedicated our first lesson this year to recollections of the summer, traditionally talking about plans for the upcoming academic year.
The main task for us schoolchildren is excellent study and exemplary behavior. We come to receive knowledge and apply it in life. Every year we become more mature, which means that the amount of information is increasing. On this day, lessons do not last long, tomorrow is a day off, and then we will come to school again to start real studies. For each of us, this is a new stage, a transition to the next step, where a lot of interesting and unknown awaits!
