Today I would like to relate about my family and myself.
My name is Valentina and I was born on August 11, 2007 in Saratov. I was named after my grandmother and I am very happy about it.
I am thirteen years old and I am in sixth class of the Humanities Gymnasium.
Our kin consist of mater, grandmother, my elder sister and me.
Together with us live a cat, dog, parrot and I like to play with them.
My mum is a doctor. She is a very better looking woman. My mom likes to solve a crossword, to prepare delicious food, and she knows many amusing stories. She always assists me with my troubles.
Our father was a firefighter. He liked his job greatly. Unfortunately, he died saving people during the fire. I really miss him and I am proud of him.
My grandmother is a pensioner. She worked as a teacher. The pupils still remember her and often visit my granny. My granny is very kind, tender. She aids me with lessons and always supports me in all my endeavors. I dream of becoming a teacher as my granny.
My sister’s name is Olga. She is 15 years old. She has a daydream to be a doctor and lend a helping to each one. Olga plays on violin. I take pride of her.
I am study nicely. My preferred discipline at the school is History. I want to learn French language, because I love French literature and I dream of reading novels in the original. I have many companions at the school. My best friends are Irina and Anna. We live in the neighborhood and we go to school together. I have many avocations. It is reading, dancing, singing, foreign languages. The genre of my loved books are historical novels. I guess it is needful to have a hobby.
At times, we go to the theater, cinema and ballet. We adore spending time all together.
My family likes feasts. The most favorite holiday in our family is a New Year.
We adorn a New Year tree with bright glass toys and garlands. Grandmother cooks delicious pies. It may seem strange, but I cherish the New Year more than my name day. I prefer a New Year to other holidays, because it is a festival of magic.
