The poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" as one of the triumphs in the works of A. S. Pushkin
The publication in may 1820 poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" was like a breath of fresh air in the literature of the time. Because such tales have not created. It would seem a little work, but how much of it was a variety of fantastic heroes and miracles that happen with them.

The poet wanted to create a similar piece. Such a love for folk tales came to him before of being in the Lyceum. In early childhood, falling asleep, every night he loved to hear stories from his nanny Arina Rodionovna. Therefore, it is not surprising that first attempts to create the poem "Monk" and "Bova". The result of all the creative ideas was the composition of the fairy tale "Ruslan and Lyudmila".

Even literary critics of our time can not decide what genre to classify this work. Some tend to think of his poem written in comic form. For others it is a specific creation of the great genius, who was able to combine some features of fairy tales and everyday realities.

The plot works all the time keeps in suspense, because every episode is full of various events. It seems that they occur by the will of fate, without any involvement of the author. The poem is read in one breath because it's been created with the inherent Pushkin melody, irony, unlike his other works, it appears a mockery of the characters.

From the first to the last lines the author does not stop to communicate with the reader, this relationship is like a thin thread that runs throughout the text. With creative comes to the fore in discussions about the characters in the stories about himself, how he shares his artistic predilections and habits. Not surprisingly, contemporaries of the poet was impressed and delighted with the poem. You can not say about the critics, they are unable to assess the tale as a simple reader. Many of them called rhyme of Pushkin's "peasant style", which can't come like people from high society.

Alexander didn't take to heart a review of his tale. Because most writers of the time gave him the palm, considering it the best among other storytellers. And even the poet Zhukovsky presented his portrait, which is signed "Winner-pupil from the vanquished teacher." The fact that the poem was of great importance in the literature, Belinsky said, putting that all disputes related to it have become a time of renewal literature of the time.
