I spend every summer in the village with my grandparents. Surely no one would like to spend hot days in a city apartment.
I really like the village, my grandmother always bakes delicious pies, but most importantly, you can walk here all day. Not far from the village there is a small river where we swim with the guys every day. In addition, here we often fish, and sometimes we cook fish soup right on the shore.
One warm June day, my friends and I were sitting on the bank of the river, resting after a long swim. I was a little bored and started throwing stones into the water. And suddenly, where one of the pebbles fell, air bubbles came out of the water. We all became quiet at once, we were scared and wondering what it could be. Soon, in the place where the bubbles were, something black appeared, this object floated further along the edge of the river. The guys and I ran along the shore after him.
Soon the black object stopped floating, we also stopped. Soon a furry muzzle stuck out of the water, one of the guys shouted that it was a beaver. That day I saw this beast for the first time, before that I had to look at it only in books.
I was very glad to meet the beaver, in reality it was much more interesting than in the books. But, unfortunately, after a while the beast disappeared from sight in the water, we were all saddened.
After that interesting incident, we came to the river hoping to see the beautiful animal again. However, our attempts were unsuccessful. But my friends and I still hope for another meeting with rare animals.
