Composition for grade 5 on the topic “How was my first day at school”
Summer was over, and with it the long holidays that I loved so much went away. Despite the fact that I went to kindergarten, summer still passed in the village and on the street. It was so great!
And then came the 31st of August. And tomorrow there should be a solemn line dedicated to the new academic year. School and first grade were waiting for me. How worried and worried I was! I practically did not sleep that night. Most of all I was worried that I would not find friends, because there would be completely unfamiliar children. In such thoughts he fell asleep after all.
In the morning the alarm clock rang. My mother began to rush me, and my grandmother began to prepare breakfast. I washed, ate, put on a suit and combed my hair. How uncomfortable it was in this shirt and trousers, because I'm used to wearing T-shirts and shorts. Grandma handed me a huge bouquet, and my mother and I went to school.
All the way my mother calmed me down, and when we approached the school, I saw my neighbor friend, who, as it turned out, would be studying with me in the same class! How glad we were! The mood immediately improved and the fear disappeared!
The line was quick and interesting. Then we were taken to class. It was bright and spacious, my friend and I sat down at the desk together. The teacher told us about the first of September, about our fear, the history of our flag. The lesson has come to an end. After that, we were given textbooks and wished a happy and successful school year.
I was glad, and the school had a wonderful impression. In the evening, my school friend and my parents and I went to a cafe and then to the cinema. A good start to the school year!
