One of the most memorable days in my life was the beginning of my trip to Thailand with my parents. In order to get to this country, we had to plan a trip in advance, so that its beginning coincided with my vacation with my mother, father and my holidays. Then we spent a long time choosing a hotel and planning our departure. And then, finally, the day came when it was time to pack our bags and get ready to leave. I spent a long time choosing what to take from my clothes and toys. I wanted to take everything at once. But of course there was no such possibility. Seeing my hesitation in choosing things, my mother came to my aid. The situation immediately began to improve. A few more hours and we were fully prepared for the journey.
We called a taxi and went to the airport, laughing and joking a lot on the way. Everyone was in high spirits. And so we arrived at the airport, and there were a lot of people around. I was a little scared, because there was some kind of hum, my mother explained that this noise is made by planes arriving and departing from the airport. We entered the building. We had to pass through customs control. I didn't know what it was then, because it was the first time I had flown abroad. When the landing was announced over the loudspeaker, we went through customs. Strict men looked through our belongings, asked us to pass through a special frame and checked our documents. They stamped our passports and allowed us to go to the waiting room. But we didn't have to sit and wait long for the flight to take off. After about 30 minutes, we took a bus across the tarmac to the plane ramp.
When I saw the plane right in front of me, I was just amazed at how big it was. I wanted to get inside the plane and take off as quickly as possible. I kept thinking how it would be. And while I was thinking, I found myself in the salon. My parents put me down at the window and warned me that I was going to have a long flight. But how long it really was at that moment neither they nor I knew. The fact is that due to the fact that few people flew to Thailand, the flight was decided to combine with a flight to China. And it turned out that already in the air we were announced that we were flying to Sanya island first, and then after refueling at the Chinese airport, we would fly to Phuket island. As a result, we spent 13 hours in the air. We arrived terribly tired, but I was still happy on this day. After all, not everyone manages to visit two States in one trip, even formally.
