Christmas is the Orthodox holiday, and one of the most important in the Christian religion. It is celebrated throughout the world, as it foreshadows the birth of Jesus Christ, which for believers is a real lifesaver. For the first time it happened over two thousand years ago in Bethlehem, and since then, it's the main event in the Orthodox Church.

Christmas eve is a time of real magic and dreams. During this period takes a different value, the surrounding objects, as if filled with magic, a magic that is hard to put into words.

Christmas eve always starts to snow, it's like the fellowship of God to the believers, in this way he wants to show his concern.

Our family decided to gather on Christmas eve at the table. Come to visit close friends, grandparents. For this reason, early childhood I have a feeling that Christmas is the most important holiday of all. It carries an atmosphere of warmth and comfort as only on this day all close people gather together, thus forgotten all the insults.

On the sixth of January we start the whole family preparing for the evening dinner. Early in the morning we go to Church, be sure to put candles for health and also for the repose of those people who are no longer in this world. Returning home begins the holiday rush, clean the house, and my mother prepares delicious dishes for the feast.

At the festive table we sit down, when the sky appears the first star, it informs people around the world that Jesus was born and to celebrate this event. On the table there is always the Christmas pudding you want to eat and SIP some wine. Thus, to honor the birth of the baby Jesus. After we exchange gifts and gentle words to each other. This evening you can't swear and be offended.

After my friends and I go out into the street and begin caroling for it in the end of the evening received the sweets are divided between all participants.

For me, Christmas is truly the magic that we ourselves create, when we believe in miracles.
