Using books, people can pass on their accumulated experience and knowledge to one another, and save it for future generations. Of course, the book is one of the most important inventions of humanity, it is one of the main engines of progress.
When we come to school, the first thing we do is learn to read. Then we learn to find the information we need in the literature and allocate the knowledge we need. Teachers strongly encourage us to love this process. Not a large number of students are reluctant to read, but this happens only at first. They simply have not yet been introduced to the book that will open a new world for them.
I really like the works of science fiction writers, which I read with pleasure in addition to the program recommended by the school. Each book reveals its own special world, which describes incredible adventures, teeming with magical creatures and all sorts of battles.
In literature, you can find answers to such questions that you do not understand. Books teach us to be kind, loyal, and truthful. They are very exciting for us. Sometimes you forget to eat lunch. Sometimes a story that strikes you has stuck in your head and you think about it for days. Whether the characters did the right thing, and whether they could have done it differently, would have changed the ending of the work. I am very grateful to the Russian language teacher for instilling a love of reading.
Few of my classmates do not like to read, and their range of interests is very limited. The individual needs to develop fully, and I think that sooner or later they will understand that they need to change their attitude to books, and discover a beautiful and fascinating world for themselves.
