Science fiction – a genre of interest to many people. Sometimes you want to briefly break away from the real world to dream about the unknown, about other planets. Science fiction based on the expected achievements of science and technology, events that will happen in the future. In the world works there are elements of the miracle, in accordance with the principles of probability.
The sci-Fi genre entered literature forever in the 20th century, from where he moved to film and even computer games. Science fiction has millions of fans around the world, mainly among young people, especially men. And most importantly – many fantasy writers have come true. Remember Jules Verne and his "20,000 thousand leagues under the sea", where he predicted the emergence of high-speed submarines. In the same book, he described a scuba invented in 1943. The book by Stanislaw LEM is fascinating, makes you wonder about the future. For example, "Return from the stars", which describes an astronaut for a long time lived in Space and have returned to a changed and unfamiliar, in fact, the Earth.
Our ancestors tried to predict the future in different ways: divination, cards, stones and magic items. Shamans, witches, sorcerers, seers, and astrologers asked for help regarding the future. The future was always something tempting for people unknown, of concern, fear, curiosity, passion. Who among us would not want even for a moment to see how the world will look like 50, 100, 200 years and beyond? What will be the fashion? What are we going to eat? We can endlessly multiply the issues, just as visions, because every fantasy depends on the person and his imagination.
Fantastic literature in school, unfortunately, almost not studied. But these novels develop the imagination, instill young readers the very important values and give good advice about how to live, how to act. Honor plays an important role in the lives of fairy tale characters. All actions taken by the characters are performed in accordance with the honor. They do not forget about it, even in moments of weakness. So the heroes of the fiction novels are a role model for young readers. Respect of conscience and principles is a very important thing in everyone's life.
Fantastic works taught to perform feats in the name of noble goals. For the sake of the characters often run the risk of sacrificing their own lives. They don't do it for the benefit of and selfishness, and are at risk for the sake of their brothers and Motherland.
