I believe that to keep wild animals at home is impossible, as by the nature determined the place suitable for existence, and many even over time, cannot adapt to captivity. Often these animals get sick, often comes to death, even when enough of them are fed, groomed and trying to create some semblance of natural habitat. They are nervous loads that can not tolerate their body.
Everyone knows that a wild animal can survive in captivity for a much shorter period of time than in a familiar environment, even under ideal conditions. Often this is because animals tend to eat familiar food and to exist at a certain pace of life, for example, the shrew requires constant power and movement as it is too fast metabolism. Even equipping a cage with a special wheel, a monotonous way movement can not be compared with the activity in the vastness of nature.
