I can say to myself that I am quite a happy person. I enjoy every day and Wake up in the morning with a smile. I have wonderful parents, a younger sister, and a favorite dog named Dina. I go to school and I like to learn. I have friends there and generally have good relations with all my classmates. Therefore, every day of my life is filled with events, joys and various impressions. But there is still one day that I look forward to and love to feel it coming. This day is December 31.
Why this particular day? Because this is the eve of the most long — awaited holiday-the New year! How I love this holiday! On December 31, I feel a special mood. Already in the morning, when I Wake up, I feel as if I hear a warm new year's tune that speaks about the upcoming miracles!
Mom starts fussing in the kitchen in the morning, preparing a variety of Goodies. There are individual dishes that she puts on the table only on this day. We always include a collection of Christmas songs and it adds a special mood to this already magical day. I have a light inside that gives me hope for a bright future, that all my cherished desires will be fulfilled, and my relatives and friends will be happy and healthy.
The moment when our family gathers at the table is especially valuable! I feel strong, reliable and confident that everything will be fine, because my loved ones are always around. We always remember the pleasant moments of the outgoing year, wish each other all the best and give pleasant gifts. And on the tree, we must put the symbol of the new year. So our Christmas tree has already accumulated a whole collection of such figures.
In the evening, we always go out into the courtyard with sparklers and firecrackers. This is a lot of fun, because the yard is full of neighbors, including my friends. We have fun, we play in the snow and just hanging out.
As the chimes strike, I make my most cherished personal wish and another one with a wish for good to my loved ones.
Here is such a magical day-December 31! This is truly the most wonderful day of the year!
