Many children dream that their parents allowed them to start their own pet. I think that in that moment when they ask the parents of the kitten, puppy, hamster or even a goldfish, they do not think that they will be purchased a living entity which will need to not only play, but feed, water, comb, or walk.
Moreover, the example of their friends, I can tell you about cases when the parents went on about their child and bought a pet home, and their son or daughter playing with a kitten or puppy at first, then began to moan just from that animal need to do something.
