Last summer my family spent in Odessa. This Sunny southern city greeted us very warmly and cordially. I even thought that once I've been here before. It is strange when distant and unfamiliar city seems so family and friends!
We stayed at the cottage with our extended family. Near the place where we settled, was the beach. Every morning I without waiting for Breakfast ran to the sea to see the sunrise on the beach. The morning sea air was so fresh and clean! I ran barefoot in the cold sea water and collecting the slippery jellyfish. Then I let go of these sea creatures back home and continued my walk. The entire beach was strewn with pebbles and shells. I collected them and made a necklace.
The black sea first sight captivated me with its almost mystical beauty and serenity. Its blue waves can wash away any sadness and sorrow. Later I was joined by my younger brother and we played together on the beach.
Then we ran to mom's for lunch. After lunch we walked around Odessa. Local attractions and asked, "take my picture!". I especially remember the Potemkin stairs where so many steps, how many stars in the sky!
In the evening we strolled in the local Park and listened to jazz ensemble playing. I really enjoyed our last trip to Odessa. At the end of the summer I did not want to return home! Odessa is a beautiful city that does not want to leave. I hope that next year we are going again!
