The topic of the sacrifice of women in Russian literature

Why is sacrifice constantly praised in the works of Russian literature? Why do they revel in this quality, and call on all the fair sex to become the same?

The answer, I think, lies in the fact that women did not know their own worth and viewed themselves from childhood as an attachment to a man. All girls were brought up from an early age in the spirit that she should get married and give birth to a bunch of children. It was in this that they saw its purpose.

No one tried to discern in the weak half of humanity a personality, an integral I, an intelligent creature. For all, she was an appendage to the representative of the stronger sex. Therefore, she often became a victim - at first for the will of her parents, who by hook or by crook tried to profitably "sell" her in marriage. For example, in the comedy D.I. They want to give Fonvizin "Minor" the orphan Sofia to the elderly Starodub, not taking into account her feelings for Milon, and also not paying attention to the huge age difference with her future husband. Anna Karenina also took the path of a fallen woman, since her love was sacrificed to the desire of her relatives to make her a good match. And can Sonechka Marmeladova, a lady of easy virtue, whose life is sung in the famous work of F.M. Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment"? Not only a book has been written about Sholokhovskoy Aksinya from The Quiet Don, but many films have been made, and everywhere her lust and desire for carnal pleasures is sung as an ode to the sacrifice of a Russian woman.

Almost all Russian literature is based on such examples, and, naturally, after reading these books included in the compulsory school curriculum, girls and girls will begin to think that sacrifice is the norm of life for the representatives of the beautiful half of humanity, that walking behind her husband's back too normalcy, the main thing is that the spouse does not find out about the horns that have grown from him. This is how the topic of the sacrifice of women in Russian literature is revealed. Is it correct? The issue is controversial and requires, in my opinion, urgent revision.
