It is difficult to answer the question of what true friendship means. The thing is that each person puts his own meaning in this word.
For me personally, the word friendship means honesty and dedication. A true friend can never deceive a friend; he will always help at the right time. It seems to me that it is important to realize that in case of troubles or troubles, a friend will not step aside or pretend that he does not care. A reliable and loyal companion will always help, no matter what situation you find yourself in. If he cannot help with an act, he will help with a sympathetic word.
Also, a true friend is always able to listen to another. Because sometimes you don't need advice or participation. Sometimes it is very important to speak elementarily in front of a person who worries about you.
An important quality of friendly relations is the absence of understatement and lies. And it's also good when a friend can be entrusted with a secret and know for sure that he will not tell it to anyone.
It is worth emphasizing the quality of friendship as self-sacrifice. We are not talking about complete dissolution in another person, forgetting about oneself. It's just very important, in my opinion, to find a compromise. Let me give you an example: two friends gathered for a skating rink, but one got a hand injury and is unable to go anywhere. If another friend does not go to the rink, but stays with the patient, this will be an example of real self-sacrifice.
It also seems to me that real friends don't need to limit each other's freedom and get angry if a friend communicates with other people. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with that. Because there should be a little space for personal interests. Otherwise, friendship will be a burden. Common interests are a prerequisite for this consent. Thanks to them, friends will always find a common topic of conversation, they have something to discuss and do together.
It turns out that making friends is not so easy, but without her, a person will be lonely.
