An essay-review on a story by L. N. Tolstoy's "After the ball"
L. N. Tolstoy - the great writer whose works - a timeless classic. As for the story "After the ball" is a cautionary tale, which reflects the depth of the pain of the author for the innocent victims of people and lomenie fate. The protagonist of the piece is only admiration. He lived an exemplary life, and his strength of spirit and character... they want to take an example.
The story raises important issues of all time, even of today. Tolstoy condemns the cruelty prevailing in the society, violence and aggression of people. It says a lot about good and evil, about the world, about the positive and negative qualities. However, he skillfully shows his point of view, and gives food for thought and readers the opportunity to take any direction independently. The words of the writer will return to the past, give to experience that life.
In his youth the protagonist had a good time, attended balls and had a lot of friends. At one of these appearances he met Barbara. He was overwhelmed with feelings. It's like he's intoxicated with love.
Very much describes themselves balls and it's great! These pages give you the opportunity to take in the atmosphere. In particular, I liked the appearance of the characters, a clear description of their clothing, it is fascinating.
The second part of the story is cardinally different from the first. It is the story of the war, on hard times. Read it a lot harder to me personally. The first part was much more colorful, positive.
In General, the work teaches us to have an opinion, don't go on about the others and not to sacrifice their principles.
