School composition

Composition based on the story of A.S. Pushkin's "The Captain's Daughter"
The theme of the essay: "Take care of honor from a young age" The

Captain's Daughter is a story of love against the backdrop of cruel historical events. In this work, Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin raises moral and philosophical problems that are relevant to this day.

In my opinion, the first problem is patriotism. If you consider the image of Grinev at the beginning of the story and at the end, you can see how Grinev's character changed: at first he was not very happy that he was sent to the Belgorod Fortress. He didn't really like it there. But, nevertheless, he was always ready to defend himself. Further, Pugachev, during his stay in the fortress, invites Grinev to serve him, to which Peter refuses, referring to the fact that he has already sworn allegiance to the empress. Based on this, we can say that Grinev is really a patriot of his homeland.

The author is also worried about love. This is revealed through the relationship between Maria Gavrilovna and Petr Grinev. Paying attention to the fact that Maria looked after him after the duel, how selflessly the guy attacked Shvabrin, defending Maria's honor, how Masha went to Petersburg and got her way from the Empress, we can say that this is really love.

The author solves the problem of meanness and betrayal by describing Shvabrin and his actions: how he called Masha his wife; how he agreed to serve Pugachev, and thereby betrayed his Motherland; how Shvabrin slandered Grinev of treason, although he was innocent. Judging by the actions of Alexei, one can understand that this is the image of a real traitor.

Based on all of the above, we can say that the problems that were raised in this work are relevant to this day. It seems to me that they will always be relevant. This story helps to fully understand the meaning of the proverb "Take care of honor from your youth."
