Confrontation between Chatsky and society
In his work "Woe from Wit" A.S. Griboyedov raised many issues for discussion that are important both for his contemporaries and for other generations of thinking readers. Almost every hero of the work personifies a whole layer of society with its thinking and attitude to everything around. Chatsky is one of the main characters in the comedy. He is a representative of a new and unaccustomed, and therefore, alien mind. It is easier to call him crazy than trying to understand the views and accept his concept of life. The author points out to us that the presence of intelligence does not protect Chatsky from the endless attacks of the society around him, from a disdainful attitude towards him. Society and Chatsky are two opposites mutually exclusive of each other. In the existing society, a person as a person is not important to anyone, what matters is rank, position, title, or willingness to serve. One side, duplicity, primitiveness, deceit, on the other, justice, education, honesty. Chatsky is disinterested and inquisitive, decisive and straightforward. He is opposed by the author to a stagnant society, its uneducated and stupid representatives. At the end of the work, Chatsky leaves society. They did not understand him, did not accept him for who he is. Chatsky, in turn, was unable to convey to society his ideas, his vision of the world. The hero is far from everyone around him, he cannot change anything.Chatsky, in turn, was unable to convey to society his ideas, his vision of the world.  Chatsky - Sophia, this is the love line of the work. Attachment, which was formed on the basis of habitual communication in childhood. For Sophia, the relationship remained the same or even lost its relevance. And Chatsky truly loves. He has serious intentions for Sophia, is ready to offer her a hand and a heart. Sophia does not reciprocate with the hero. She treats him coldly. She loves, but another. Chatsky is disappointed with this situation. He leaves Moscow. His heart is broken with grief. And here the hero does not find closeness, and here he was pushed away.

In a literary work, such a person as Chatsky experiences only endless disappointment and bitterness, and society strives with all its might to quickly get rid of him. Mutual influence did not take place. The hero leaves alone and misunderstood. And society remains unchanged.
