If I could go back in time
One of the most popular topics in the history of science fiction was the idea of time travel. In literature and film this theme was exploited countless times. We know and love such works of G. G. wells, R. Bradbury, S. king, and numerous movies and television shows. They, like many others, devoted mainly to one question: how can a person influence or even change his or someone else's life in the present, making even minor amendments in the past? In my opinion, this is one of the most common, natural and essential questions.

When I was a kid, I often dreamed about a special pocket device that would allow me to “save” certain moments of my life so if I wasn't able to do something, I could always “load” my life from a certain moment, already having a certain level of experience — exactly as they do in video games. I imagined, what could do if I had such power: jumping from skyscrapers without a parachute (and “disappear” at the last second before landing), to travel across the savannas, jungles and deserts, to participate in races and perform other risky actions. I especially liked to think about saving people from desperate and dangerous situations, when others could not help; I guess every boy dreams of becoming a superhero, and I was no exception.

When I got older, my life experience gradually became more diverse. In many situations, I had no idea how to act properly, what decisions to take, which way to go and, of course, I made mistakes. While many of my actions at the time of give good results in the future, some of the errors entailed a lot of painful moments for me and the people around them. Mistakes are inevitable, but they allow us to learn, grow, and motivate us to change for the better - and still sometimes I want to jump in a time machine, go back a couple of years ago and make corrections.

Would I try to get other people to act differently? I think not. I would rather warn myself about the upcoming consequences of my foolish decisions.

The presence of a time machine — a surprisingly attractive idea. And, it seems that life would be so much easier! That might be true. But now I think that life is with all faults, teaches us responsibility. And perhaps the most important responsibility: about himself, about important people, about their own lives, the only one that we have. And besides, our mistakes make us what we are today. Today I am a boy, leading a healthy, active lifestyle that cares for his friends and family and think about their share of responsibility in everything that happens in life. I try to live every day to the max, so nothing to regret.

If I could go back in time, I would try to make their future better. That's what our parents always try to do while we are still children. But still I am glad that no time machine was not invented.
