Life without friends would be dull, grey and lonely. Your friend will be with you even in your darkest hour. As for me, I can call myself lucky, because I have a really good friend. Her name is Nadia and she is amazing girl. I remember day when we first met. That was our first day at school. She came into classroom and came to my desk. Nadia didn’t know where to sit, so I asked her, whether she wants to sit next to me. I felt that we will be friends since that day!
Nadia is not just my school mate. By the way, Nadia and I often discuss our future professions. We both will study at the same medical University.
We spent a lot of time together. Sometimes go to the park, read at the library, listen to the music together or just chatting about boys and lessons. When I need to go shopping, I always take my best friend with me, because she is real fashion expert. She has really good taste. Besides, she is very faithful friend.
One day I had some business in the other part of the town when the heavy rain began to pour down. Suddenly I understood that I forgot my umbrella at home! I ran into some small shop to wait until the weather improves. Shop assistant warned that in 5 minutes they would be closed. Unfortunately I must admit that was the greatest rain I have ever seen. It was summer and I was dressed in T-shirt and shorts. Then I remembered that my friend warned me not to go out without umbrella on that day! I should follow her wise advice! Then I decided to call her. Nadia lives not far from the shop, where I was hiding from the rain. In some minutes she was at the door of that shop holding huge red umbrella and smiling. We went home under that umbrella laughing. That day she really saved me from getting soaked to the skin and catching cold!
Nadia always asks my advice. Sometimes she needs help with English and Mathematics. I try to do my best and help her with those school subjects. We have small garden near the house. When we gathering apples or apricots, I always call Nadia to share the fruits with her. It is the least I can do for her. I am very happy to have such friend as Nadia. Friendship is the great thing. That is for sure!
